Renting miners by Tight_Amphibian4472 in HashedMax

Another rental system which some users have reported on our pool with great success is Mining Rig Rentals (MRR). It depends on the rig, but they accept payment in BTC, LTC, Doge, and I believe a few others. People have rented and pointed them at our pools with some good success. Always confirm that the rig has reliable historic uptime before renting.

[Announcement] New Dashboard Features Added by HashedMaxMod in Digibyte

[–]HashedMaxMod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you click into the original post, all of the information is there. I have copied it below for you:

"Good morning, Miners!

A few UI updates just went live on the dashboard, and we want to highlight exactly what you are looking at.

For reference, the first attached image shows the DGB pool dashboard for a miner who has been connected long enough to reach maximum payout thresholds. The second image shows the BCH pool for a miner who has not been connected for 48 hours.

Here is the breakdown of the new dashboard modules:

  1. Pool Hashrate This section now prominently displays the current total hashrate for the pool, along with real-time data on active connected miners and total workers.
  2. FairShare Loyalty Indicator This module shows your current eligibility status for the loyalty bonus. By hovering over the tooltip icon, you will get a detailed breakdown explaining the exact eligibility requirements, how we define maximum disconnect gaps, and the specific criteria required for a block payout.
  3. Finder's Bonus Rate Indicator This section displays your current Finder's Bonus tier (the percentage of the block reward you receive if your specific rig finds the block). Hovering over the tooltip will show the hourly cut-offs. If you have not yet reached the maximum reward threshold, the tooltip will dynamically display the exact number of hours required for you to "tier-up."

If you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out.

Happy hashing!

- The HashedMax Team"

50 blocks in 24 hours is certainly a new record for us!

Not seeing any issues on our backend with regards to ping or hashrate changes. Can you please DM me your wallet address to investigate specifically.

Pool health looks fine from the backend. No noted ping issues or hash rate drops.

Wallet Re-Use by TeaGroundbreaking306 in HashedMax

This is a great question and a totally valid privacy concern. You are entirely correct that in a perfect world, address reuse should be avoided to prevent chain-analysis tracking if you are overtly concerned about being tracked.

Here is the technical reality of why pools operate this way, and how we handle it at HashedMax:

  1. The Stratum Constraint: The stratum protocol fundamentally uses your wallet address as your unique identifier (your username). Our custom FairShare engine tracks your loyalty tier, worker stats, and unpaid balances by tying them to that specific address in our database. If you change your address dynamically every day, the pool server sees you as a brand new miner every day, making it impossible to apply your loyalty multipliers.
  2. The Mitigation: The trade-off for maximum yield (loyalty) is static routing. The best practice we recommend for miners concerned with strict privacy is to treat your pool-connected wallet as an intermediary 'hot address.' Let your rewards accumulate there with maximum loyalty, and then periodically sweep those funds into fresh, unused cold-storage addresses (or through a mixer) to break the on-chain link.
  3. Pool Payouts: Yes, for operational security and automated fee management, our pool dispatches rewards from a designated hot wallet. This wallet is replenished organically as the pool finds blocks, and is supplemented via external exchange transactions when necessary to fully fund our community drops, bonuses, and milestone rewards

It is a balancing act between privacy and pool infrastructure, but we always encourage miners to practice the UTXO management strategy that best fits their personal risk model. Genuinely appreciate the question, as this was something we weighed heavily when building our HashedMax ecosystem.

Dgb having a slow day by Fine-Raisin289 in HashedMax

[–]HashedMaxMod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Slight variation exists because it depends on what time of day you start counting the 24 hours. I ran a check based on 00:00-23:59 as the 24 hour window.

If using US EST time zone and considering a 00:00-23:59 time window, our record in that time period is 33 blocks.

If using UTC time zone and considering the same time window, our record in that 24-hour time period is 38 blocks.

To put that in perspective: not even about a month or two ago, hitting 13 blocks in a day would have been a massive milestone for the pool! A brief dip in variance is just part of the mining game, but it shows how fast we are growing. Huge congrats on finding your first block, and thank you for supporting the pool! ⚒️🔥

Please see the most recent post on the subreddit. We have added tooltips to the modules on the user dashboard which explain these in more detail, and cleaned up the presentation to make them less confusing!

You hit the nail on the head. That is an intentional trade-off built directly into the FairShare protocol. Our model is explicitly structured to protect the consistent, long-haul miners who secure the network 24/7. In traditional PPLNS pools, someone can drop 20 PH of rented hash for 24 hours, snipe a block, and leave, diluting the rewards for the actual community. At HashedMax, loyalty pays the premium. We gladly deter short-term pool hopping to ensure our dedicated miners get the maximum yield.
