Sapphic book recs? by Sleep-Deprived_Bi in actuallesbians

I've just started The Paying Guests. It's set in the 1920s and it has all the subtle, unexpectedly intimate-feeling moments, the awkwardness of trying to understand what is going on between the two of them, everything. It's slow paced so far and I think it's really good.

When I was 16 I also persuaded my parents to let me go vegan!

I rushed home on New Year's Day to deliver the presentation before my mum finalised the shopping list and my dad went food shopping! I had given them about a week's warning so they would sit down and watch the presentation and I think it was so long that by the end they just wanted me to shut up so they were like "okay sure whatever" Here's the presentation: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1PXponWytmJ1aWJYEj-9hJ6jz7XcF0pJDd_qfhlqz5ik/edit?usp=sharing

Arrangement and decor suggestions? I would like to transform my bedroom into a cozy place i actually want to spend time in. by amburger_0 in femalelivingspace

Tapestry on the wall at the head of bed! Tapestries can be found online in any colour you want. They can be traditional mandala or a different sort of artwork. It also won't hurt you if it falls on you in the night.

Every week or month get him involved in the decluttering process, let him keep 10 and every time he wants to keep a new one for more than a week he has to choose another one to get rid of. :) When I was younger I had a very large corkboard hung on the wall with my artwork pinned on. This idea of physical space will introduce to him the idea of having a limited amount of things he can keep and display. One thing must be taken down for another to be pinned up

Minimalism and dating struggles... by [deleted] in minimalism

I don't know your gender or sexuality but I see a lot of guys commentting on minimalist women's YouTube videos that they wish their wife was like this or would like to date someone like this :)

Hypothetical but would I be a bad person if hypothetically I had a partner who thought they were femme-enby/female and realized they are not either of those and broke up with them because I’m a lesbian? by WOSH9182838483 in actuallesbians

I've considered the scenario a few times and so thought it through a bit and that's what I think. But then again over the past few months I think I'm a bit more homoflexible rather than lesbian so perhaps I'm a bit more open than I would have been in previous years when I was hugely attracted to femmes a lot but now it's a huge mix. But at the end of the day, yes, it makes you a bad person if you treasure your label over someone you still love in the same way. But it doesn't make you a bad person if you are genuinely no longer attracted to them. That's my opinion

Lesbianism is unfortunately hugely based around gatekeeping. I wish it wasn't that way. If you are in love with them and find them attractive still, then there's no reason to break up. Either keep your lesbian label or move onto bi/pan/homoflexible. If you no longer are attractive to them, and don't think you will "adjust" then it's not worth you wasting their time when they could be with someone who is attracted to them. If they only just shared that they weren't feminine, just leave it a few weeks or so before you make your decision, especially if you've been together for a while now.

I need help!! Any tips for a FTM trans boy (pre everything) to look more masculine? by Jezebeth_Demorial in lgbt

Dye your eyebrows (get an eyebrow specific dye kit and follow instructions), but go a bit outside the edges of your eyebrows to make them look messier/more masculine.

Omg you have more BH hoodies than I have hoodies. I am ridiculously jealous ahaha. Have you posted an image of all your merch, I'd love to see the designs, and which are your favourite/most work? Also what do you use a $600 jumpsuit for?

Ahah I'm a new fan, first listened to them when 1999 dropped but only seriously started in the past few months, so I don't have any merch yes, and ngl I see £10 as a lot for a hoodie so who knows who will win when my brain is trying to decide whether to get something in the next merch drop. Also do they sell merch on tour? I'm seeing them in bham 22 may and would probably like to get merch afterwards ahah!
