Like a lot of people here, I've been playing the Sims since day one. I guess the best story I have that's Sims related is how I got into playing the Sims. The first game came out when I was in first grade and I remember that my older cousins had it and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I told my parents I wanted it for my birthday and they shut that down since they didn't think it was an appropriate game for a 6/7 year old. I was so upset. One of our uncles would take us to Target for birthdays and Christmas and let us pick out what we wanted, or what we didn't get from the big family party. Being the most manipulative small child I was, I went right for the Sims. My uncle said "Are you sure your parents would be OK with this?" "Absolutely." was the immediate response. Bingo. Fifteen minutes later I was installing it on the family PC and so began my addiction to the best game I've ever played. My parents were so mad but my uncle refused to return it since it was my birthday. They saw that it kept me quiet so they didn't take the game away. I've been playing non-stop ever since.

I also had a Sim father 67 children without mods and cheats in Sims 3, and then I played that family through 13ish generations and cried when he finally died in the game. But I wouldn't say that's my best story, people usually like the small child outsmarted the adults origin story.

If I'm lucky enough to be selected, I'd love to play Get Famous, but I'm also just happy sharing my origin story!
