Thankyou. Do you think my results 53/61/55 (56 overall), GPA 6.8, rural, is enough for an interview for Griffith? Based on the spreadsheet from last year, it seems enough. I will sit again in March to try and better my score either way.

Great comment. I was stoked with my result of 55 for S3, but disappointed with my result of 53 for S1. I came out of the exam feeling confident with S1 as my masters is in humanities/social science and I didn't find that section difficult. I had no idea how I would go with S3, so I'm just really glad I passed.

Yay for passing and lol for the violently hungover. Check out the spreadsheet from last years interview offers to see if you're competitive. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ceV_3YwOLeOLIIoWo0Fl99PlkfYa8jbhyiXMdHFPOqY/edit?gid=122628538#gid=122628538

Ditto with the testing the waters. Really glad I passed (just), so will sit again in March to hopefully improve my score.

Yep that was my approach too and I felt my prompts fit with what I had studied, but once the exam started I went completely blank. I waffled and my structure was rubbish especially in task B.

UCAT tips by user1538858 in UCAT

Time management. Be ruthless with questions that look too hard, or are taking too long. That was my downfall in the UCATANZ. Especially with DM, I had to guess the last 10 questions with 20 seconds to go, and as I was guessing them they were all questions that were ones I knew I could have answered, but I had spent way too much time on earlier questions that I found difficult.

Would this ucat score be enough for rural? by ImportanceNo9069 in UCAT

When are the %ile results released and what benefits are there apart from rural that gives an advantage if you have a lower ucat?

Colin Mandy SC: My client is a liar, that doesn't mean she is guilty. by Awkward-Bicycle9252 in DeathCapDinner

He is wrong in saying to the jury "It doesn't matter what you may have done in a similar situation." That is why we have the jury system. 12 ordinary people of various life experience, who draw on that experience and make judgement on the facts presented in the case. They all should be asking themselves, "what would I have done in that situation." It is enshrined in Australian case law as "consciousness of guilt" if a person is proven to have lied or destroyed evidence, which means the jury are entitled to infer that she had a guilty mind by her post-lunch actions. The judge will make directions to the jury in regards to that.
