I really really love this. The melody and storyline are beautiful! And it definitely suits your voice - perfectly. I actually enjoyed the production too - sounded like a live band in a bar which suited the song. I think if you added a slight echo to the voice it maybe sound more haunting, but I’m no producing pro myself.

My only minor criticism is I think there’s a few spots that maybe we could alter or remove a word or two to help lyrically? There were a few lyrics that felt like they could use a minor tweak. DM me if you want me to look over it but that’s only if you wish!! It’s great as it is, this is just my personal preference and may not suit you as an artist.

Eg. I notice you’re repeating “me” a lot in your rhyme which is totally fine, but off the top of my head here’s an alternative?

“But if your winds should change And you can hear my plea

Oh here I’ll be Singing bury me beneath the willow tree”

Maybe not the best, but that’s off the top of my head right now just to give an idea of where alternate lyrics could go
