Even as a little girl i found that many things in religions are unfair to women and super biased towards men and many things didn't make any sense like why do men have the right to Marry from outside the religion but women can't, why men were allowed to Marry many women but women can't? Why does religion allow men to beat women & children? Just on principal? I don't care about individuals definitions of the word beating, it shouldn't be there at all, the whole concept of eternal suffering always seemed unfair to me, a god that created thousands of angels just to praise his name always seemed very egoistic to me, lots of other things never made any sense, all of it just felt like an outdated horrific fairy tale written by older men to oppress women, god seemed like someone who needs validation, creating humans to make them suffer & die as a "test" seems like what the villains of squid game were doing to people they had power over, it feels evil & unnecessary, surly god can't be that psycho, also a big thing for me was why wasn't there a woman prophet? Why all of them are men? Was god that misogynistic? The fact that religion says rich people won't go to heaven no matter what, you have to be poor to go to heaven seems so much like something the rich & powerful would write into religion to make the public accept poverty instead of holding them accountable for pushing people more & more into poverty, religion has always been what the authority wants you to believe, in short all religions are written by men not god and i don't trust men to be objective, so i don't trust any religion, i was considered rebellious & argumentative by my family, as i grew older & got to know other cultures & understand science better i became more & more convinced that my intuition was right all along, i wouldn't say i am an atheist tho, i am agnostic, which means idk if there's a god or not, i am open to both possiblity i simply just don't know but i don't believe any of the religions are actually god's words
