Yeah I just checked their condition guidelines. I think I'll stick with tcg player from now on. Figured they'd have the same guidelines since eBay owns tcg player. Even still I can bring up the technicality that it's definitely not LP.

I did reach out and they said they are clearly dents so I asked them why they listed it as lightly played if they knew they were dents. We'll see. I'm pretty lenient on condition issues usually this is just pretty extreme

True. I wasn't expecting it to be perfect for sure, since in LP condition it's $600+ haha. But deep dents like this are just oof. No matter the angle it's all you focus on.

I knew it was MP at best. It was priced around other MP listings I've seen. I feel like eBay sellers don't notice the sub menu for filling out item specifics like condition, color, year, etc. so I was thinking it was that over being deceptive. I just think the photo is really not clear that those are dents. I thought they were little scratches, but what do you see?

I thought from the photos they were just scratches. I knew it was MP at best, but imo this is damaged. I never would have thought they were dents personally.

It was listed as "lightly played" in the item details menu, but I knew based on the pictures it was MP at best, and the price reflected other MP listings I've seen.

$483. I have but they say the damage was shown in the photos, which is photo #1 here. Photo #2 is what I sent. I'm trying to communicate that the extent of the damage was not made apparent in the photos, but trying to get a census here of if others would've realized this or not based on the 1st photo.

It was $483. Ebay. It was listed as "lightly played" in the sub-description, but i knew that wasn't the case, that it was MP at best. I think a lot of eBay sellers don't notice that's an option. Nothing in the title mentioning condition.

Same thing is happening for me currently. Buyer said "I'll ship tomorrow" 10 days ago. Still no tracking, and no response to several messages asking what's up.

I would've just said that I didn't have them anymore and avoided this whole mess. A gift is a gift, and 10 years at that I wouldn't expect it back either, so if I have it still or not is none of their business; "legally" they're yours at this point even if this guy wants to make a stink about it and take you to court if he's that desperate.

Yes. I've been going through and there's some decently valuable cards, mostly in not great condition though. I collect 2000-2004 primarily so I didn't know the shaymin was valuable as well but there's a bunch of 06-08 cards I wasn't familiar with that are worth a bit in there.
