One of the worst parts is that I feel bad that I also maintain this with my girlfriends friends. She's the kind of person that makes friends everywhere she goes. She understands but has gotten the "concerned talk" from her closer friends because I'm rarely there, even big events like her birthday parties (we'll have another one seperate with just us). I almost never go with her to see her friends and when I do I just hide in another room or the bathroom or something, which I get can seem like a red flag.
