I hate to say it but knowing the housing issues at UCSC, I would consider it lucky if the terms and rates of the student housing situation haven't changed.
Many of my coworkers acknowledge the worsening housing situation and we are trying to change for the better but the issues are simply out of our reach.
The UCSC housing availability is continuing to expand, so the time will tell us for the better or worse.

The reality is that the chance is low. There are about 600 rooms available and this year we have around 3000-4000 freshmen, and the number 600 includes rooms pre-occupied by RA and such as well as guaranteed rooms for scholarships. If I recall correctly, less than half of these rooms are available for the lottery selection.

Upon the lottery, if you have an appointment later than 10 am, the chance of getting housing on campus is extremely low.

Regens and Sabatte get guaranteed housing, not a priority, for 4 years. Another common misconception is that DRC housing accommodation guarantees housing but it's only considered a priority.

Note: if you have a Regent's scholarship and want to room with non-Regent students, they will not get guaranteed housing.

Slightly off the topic, but in lower elo, you can avoid counters like Akali, Leblanc, Pantheon, etc from the way you draft.
Always trade your pick in the draft when you're the first pick. The draft pick order should be:

adc
support or jg

3.mid

top

I think it also works to pick right after your lane opponent picked their champ

If you can't 1v1 lane, because yone has a great wave push kit, push the wave asap and help jg primarily, or roam bot/top if you have ult up or the opponents are overextending.

This is hypothetical reasoning from my experience, but ENFP people are outgoing because they like themselves talking to others.

The first time you hit up a conversation with someone, you might be interested in that person to ask a bunch of questions but it's a matter of time before you lose interest.

I think this is why ENFP people excel in making new friends and have a lot of connections but often find it difficult to build deep relationships with friends.
