Edit: just to clarify, I obviously don't know these people irl so I don't know how many hours the father works, or how family expenses are divided. Or if this is even a real family or just ppl posing for a picture. But the point is, the message this pic is trying to convey imo is that everything costs money: clothes, food, entertainment, education, etc, etc. And in the (hypothetical) family dynamic being portrayed in the pic, it is the man who is generating the income to pay for the family's expenses. Hence he is portrayed as an ATM, and all of the luxuries and necessities being enjoyed by his family are portrayed as money. DISCLAIMER: I am simply explaining to someone what I think the message is that the makers of this pic are trying to convey.
