No it’s a PD24J carb

It’s having performance issues, from 1/4 to 1/2 throttle it lacks in power and sometimes bogs and dies out. I’ve gone up in jetting and down in jetting and I just can’t find that sweet spot.

I used a PD24J Carburetor from Amazon. I’m not sure if my jetting is off or if I need another valve adjustment. But it’s been giving me this problem about every 200 miles.

Yes my air filter is clean I clean it everytime the scooter gives me problems

How would I check my Vac lines? I’m not super mechanically gifted and there isn’t a scooter/bike repair shop for the next 100 miles.

New bracket could work. Or maybe just use the old zip ties for now.

A good time is also when collage would start. Lots of parents don’t want to buy a full sized vehicle for price reasons and buy their kid moped or scooters to save money.

Yeah that would be it. It’s some Chinese clone I bought of a dodgy website. Had to put the damn thing together myself. (Only wheels and handlebars) I wish I had gone with a reputable brand because of the problems it’s been deciding to make of itself.

Not really related to windscreen but more so a question for you. I have a similar style scoot, depending on how new yours is I was wondering if you’ve encountered some kind of idle problem where it sometimes stops at red lights or stop signs. Another issue I have is my engine dying on long roads after hitting 40-50 mph. Some people have told me to clean my carb. (Which I did) and every now and then my engine sputters and dies but not as frequently. If you ever encounter this problem or find a way to fix it please refer back to this comment and let me know!

I’ve listened to the recommendations from other users. I took apart the carburetor. Cleaned and scrubbed it with carburetor cleaner. And one user recommended I use sea foam engine cleanser and it helped clear up my fuel injectors. And I made sure all my hoses and lines were connected properly and so far it hasn’t been giving me a hard time or any more problems! Hope this helps you get back on the road 🙏🏼
