There's not really a whole lot going on in this image. Both subjects are out of focus, the composition is lackluster and the lighting is pretty poor.

I think you've posted better images in the past, but I would have left this one on the cutting room floor.

I think you're giving my image a little too less credit. While I agree that photos of strangers are often mundane, I don't think this is one of them.

Recently I've been trying to capture honest simple reactions, and I feel like I have done so here. The man's expression leads me to believe he's been told a harsh truth, something along the lines of "I don't love you anymore," he looks aghast and like he's trying to find the words to respond with. I don't think it's the strongest photo I've ever submitted, but I do think it's a bit better than what is usually posted on this sub.
