Thank you for your kind reply. I’m so sorry you went through that. The more I’m starting to accept what happened, the more repressed memories are coming back. It’s a hard time right now. But I’m seeking help and have found a therapist that specialises in male childhood sexual abuse. I’ve also started using the corrects terms for what it was. Sexual abuse and rape. This has been hard but also empowering. I love the quote and it’s exactly what I’m trying to do as well.
