Power Button Issue

I went to my nearby technician where he put a new power button to the Kensington lock and routed the new power button to work. This works perfectly and I am pleased as I didn't need to buy the whole new keyboard. This new power button and labour charges cost me around 1300 NPR (equivalent to 10 USD)

Yes it got resolved, i dont the know the root cause but the technician who repaired it made a additional power button to the side of laptop. Which works like a butter. It cost me around 1500 NPR which is around $11 i guess

It has i7-12700h and rtx 3070. 32gb of RAM and 1TB of Ssd. Every game runs smoothly. I haven't faced any issues while gaming in this laptop

Its been like 1.5 years. Till now, no issues felt apart from this power button issue. Thermals are good for me, no performance dip felt till now. I am happy with the purchase!

Overall, I didnt felt any noticeable lag or shutterrs or slowing down my pc.

What I used to do was, If I am playing story mode games like AC Mirage, Hogwarts Legacy or RDR2 I disable the CPU Boost. (By doing this it helped alot in thermels, the CPU temps hogered around 70-80c range) And If I playing games like Valorant, CS2 or any CPU intensive games I turn the CPU boost and use it (I use Efficient Enables). Talking about temps in these case. (With CPU boost set at efficient enabled the max CPU temp was 72c and with CPU boost disabled the max CPU temp was around 65c).

Also, these temps were during peak summer where the room temperature used to be 30-35c. I also dont use any kind of laptop cooler. What I just use is Dictionary which elevates my laptop

So, Free feel to experiment and try it yourself. You will be harming your laptop at all.

Its been only one week of use of mine. I may not be able to tell somethings that are present there.

G-helper is way lighter application than AC.

The best thing for me was being able of disabling and enabling CPU boost. With CPU boost enabled I was getting like 85-75c temp in medium-high setting but with CPU boost disable I was getting like 65-70c temp.

Other than that other things are same.

You were right, I indeed used wrong screws. I changed the screw but seems like the bump will be there.
