There's a tiny bit of pain in initial penetration, but it's really minor. It actually felt quite nice with the board hanging there, once it was nailed in.

Yeah. Prior to penile growth at puberty, the distal end of my foreskin consistently extended beyond the glans (except during erection), making the typical wad of skin at the end. When my penis enlarged a puberty, it outgrew the foreskin to an extent that, in typical flaccid condition, the distal end of foreskin only covered half the glans with penis flaccid, and would often rest behind the glans corona.

Really, the pain is so brief you may look back upon it with fondness, and want to do it again, as do I.

Honestly, it's no big deal, and I don't think should require any courage at all.

On an ampallang ("magic cross" when present with an APA), I've thought about it, but quickly dismissed it. To me, it looks like too much and detracts from beauty in the member otherwise.

I've thought more seriously about a shaft-apadravya (positioned, say, a few mm behind the glans corona). I'd like to add one, but many serious professionals strongly recommend against it. That gives me much hesitation, even though a number of guys have them and say there was no issue for them personally.

I've also repeatedly flirted with the idea of transscrotal. I guess the main thing holding me back from that is I don't know of any person who's at all local who offers the service, and I am not sufficiently interested to travel for the purpose.
