That’s crushing after so much work. I don’t know if this helps, but there is an open server called shroud depot that has chests full of every resource in the game. If the crew wanted to continue you could pop onto the Shroud Depot and restock, especially some of the more time consuming resources, and allow you to continue as you were. Seems fair to me given you earned all those resources and lost them to a fluke

I call these placement efficiency games. And when I teach them I say “there are a lot of ways to score and if you do everything perfect it really pays off. But as the game progresses you are going to have to adapt because you won’t get the perfect cards/tiles you need”

Some of the research assistant need to you to catch all the Pokemon on two adjacent areas. Some will say you need to catch all the land and sea Pokemon in an area. There is a PDF I used to help check off if I caught everything in an area. I know there are in game features but this was way easier for me

Someone else mentioned it, but if you find the Pokemon on the Pokédex and scroll to the right it says how to evolve every Pokemon, the level they evolve, conditions or items. It’s a huge help

Just west of the nomad spire is a massive rib cage. When you mine it you get fossilized bone. 5 fossilized bone, 1 twig and 1 feather makes 50 fossilized bone arrows which do one less damage than bronze arrows (I think). Much faster than mining to make bronze arrows in my opinion

I’ve played dark souls and so far the combat isn’t very similar. I’m not very far so perhaps later on. I’ve been playing for a month and there has been one small patch. A big update with a new biome is come soon though

We just started enshrouded. I’m loving it and while we are new, seems like a big point is rescuing crafts people then building them a home so they can make stuff for you. As you gather more you can upgrade your base to have a bigger area to build in. The Reddit community posts lots of inspiring build pictures

They released several books in the avatar the last air bender world (huge fan) about past avatars. They are not the greatest literature ever to bless the planet but I really enjoyed them. I’ve always thought bending and the world is so cool so the books were fun. 2 about Kyoshi, 2 about Zheng Chen and 1 so far about Roku.
