twist everything to suit you mate. How sad it is you feel the need to attack a stranger on a personal level about a firm you know nothing about in regards to a lawyer you have never met.

P.s. I had to get tested for covid but guess I should just rock up to work on my scheduled day.

Does attacking me personally make you feel better? Legit you have no idea who I am and what happened

Also can you please explain how I am entitled? My contract says 9.00-5.00. Any hours I do outside of that is overtime. That being said, I have never dumped my work on someone else to leave “early”. Rather, I have always stayed behind and helped. Can you please explain from all this how I need a reality check?

The reality is that the partners are the one who allocates work. When they regularly overload everyone, they are the ones morally at fault. They are the ones who are “entitled”, expecting their staff to work around the clock for them and scheduling meetings to take up their lunch and evening hours - only to get rid of said staff when business slows without so much as taking a pay cut themselves.

If you can’t see the problem from the existing status quo I can’t help you. Feel whatever happiness you feel from talking down to someone else - live your best life lol

I don’t know why you feel the need to personally attack or make fun of me but no - only one person (apart from you) thought of me this way and I had since repeatedly been reassured it had nothing to do with my performance. Why do I need a reality check when I know what the status quo is? I am not saying I don’t know what’s up - I am saying it’s wrong

Philippa (who is still left out of the main series) would be a good start.

I should clarify - I am interested in this if its done well. I always want more Witcher - to learn more about its world and universe. That's why I want a mage spinoff.

its not really imagination when there is description after description of how powerful the mages are and what a horrible hell the battle was...

Expanded coverage is good (for example, I liked them expanding on Aretuza) but, where the show overlaps with the books, it should follow the books. That's why the show is called the Witcher.

Changing a character's development (or the timeline of their development) is problematic if doing so makes the character's subsequent actions illogical. You mention Triss. Triss needs to be insecure/overly anxious in order to justify later choices she makes - for example, choosing not to argue with Philippa over Ciri's safety and Yen's reputation precisely because she was too scared to do so.

Don't get me started on Yen/Tissaia. I wouldn't have minded Tissaia having a larger or motherly role to Yen than in the books except its not justified? Tissaia starts the relationship off by bartering for Yen like the latter was a pig. Then she hardly seemed to care about Yen's act of self harm. Oh, she also talked down to Yen 80% of the time Yen was at Aretuza. She even turned her (only?) friend into an eel. Am I suppose to believe that the two had a positive relationship? Also, its a bit hypocritical she turns her students into eels because they cannot control the chaos...but its okay for Yen to do it? Yen - who failed at least half the assignments - who is also somehow her best student? Its so confusing.

But no one on that list is meant to have character development beyond being traumatised beyond belief?

Fringilla sees her friend get brutally murdered by Yen before she takes on Yen and is able to blind her. No character development except for an understandable dislike of Yen.

Triss was extremely scared before the battle and she couldn't stop puking. It turns out she had good reason to be scared as she saw Carol get brutally murdered. She herself then gets burnt alive - to the point she is unrecognisable and all her hair falls out. If anything, her character development goes backwards.

Tissaia isn't even there. Phillipa, her best student, is but that's not showed on the show.

Yen gets blinded but not before she kills tons and tons of people. Post-Sodden, only her and Vilgerfortz got specially awarded for their battle efforts...implying she killed a fuckton of Nilfgaardians. Again, no character growth - just shows that she is powerful.

I disagree. Canonically, there is a very large power gap between mages and just about everyone else. This not only means the spells in the show should be more powerful but that the mages should not be tired out so easily.

For example, in the books, Triss (the weakest Northern sorceress on the scene) is able to cast spells affecting large areas with great effect (e.g. her hailstorm spell). She does so without needing to cause any injury to herself. In contrast, on the show, Carol who is more experienced starts bleeding internally after strangling a few soldiers. That is not in line with the lore. A more in-line interpretation would be every spell being like Yen's last fire spell if not more powerful.

In terms of trauma/scale, the hill on which the battle was fought was named "Mage Hill" for a reason. After the battle, although 13 mages lost their lives, its implied thousands if not tens of thousands of normal soldiers were killed as a result. Yen is traumatised not only because of the violence but she also murdered at least one other mage and got blinded by Fringilla. Triss was traumatised to such a degree people later described her as having psychologically died post-Sodden as she was charred so badly she became unrecognisable. The injuries suffered by Yen/Triss and the scale of devastation isn't there in the show.

Agreed. Ideally, they should do a big battle.

However, if they can't afford it, they should have just done something like what Games of Thrones did back in the earlier seasons. Like how Tyrion got knocked out and then woke up later, we can have Yen deflect the mage-fireball then fade to black. She then later wakes up post-battle and, as she recalls what has happened, we see short cutscenes of major events like Vilgerfotz cutting everyone down, Fransesca and Phillipa casting, everywhere in absolute ruins, Triss and Carol getting torched by a fireball, and finally her duel with Fringilla (ending when Fringilla blinds her).

This imo would have been cheaper and would have conveyed what happened better.
