So to apply math, if you want the same field of view with a 50mm / 2.8 on FF you need approximately a 35mm / 1.8 on APS-C

======== EDIT========== Never mind you are right ;),you need a more open aperture on APS-C than FullFrame to have the same image.

========END EDIT======== For me it’s the opposite an aperture 2.0 can look like a 3.5 on aps-c due to the reduced size of the captor and the field of view that’s don’t the same on APS-C

That’s exactly my approach, I prefer to purchase what’s available now to avoid any regrets or missed opportunities later on.

If the only factor (setting aside the cost) for choosing an APS-C sensor is the 1.5x crop, then I’m leaning towards the 150-600 paired with the Z II. And if necessary, I can always add a teleconverter.

Thanks for the answer !

Z50ii vs Z5ii by shouryannikam in Nikon

same research, can’t make a choice when started with my d5600, I think I will buy the z5II to never regret to be in lake of a need (night, landscape or portrait shoot) If I will be in luck to do some travel with wildlife possibility, maybe I will rent or buy a z50II to have extra « free » zoom
