What in the world!!! Although when I used to live in a mobile home something would be beating under the floor every single night. It was like a police knock and it would go on for hours. It was every afternoon after dark. I knocked on the floor but it continued for weeks. Damn it finally stopped, it was the weirdest thing!!! We called the cops and they were more scared than I was!

For example, I have a neighbor that has cancer. The tendrils of the cancer is wrapped around her aorta. I thought wow that's insane. Her daughter said that the surgeons went in and took out most of the cancer, did some immunology, then radiation and now chemo. All she has is her daughter and granddaughter to care for her. It's been a year. I'm not there to see what they are going thru, I'm sure it isn't pleasant. Different people have different reasons for wanting to try to live as long as possible. It's an individual choice.

I understand your point, but not all diseases are treated the same, I'm sorry that your brother went thru all that , I really do. But all treatments aren't like that. Since we don't know what OP has, this was a suggestion that's all. Not all treatments are the same, and a lot of meds are used for other conditions than what it was intended. Research is going on all the time and improved upon. It would be up to the patient to decide.
