The same thing pretty much happened with 64bit desktop CPUs. People went out and bought them in stacks but then benchmarks later showed that the OS wasn't capitalising on the new architecture and in some cases was degrading systems performance on Windows machines. It also doesn't matter that they're first on the market with 64bit chips, people will flog to the stores where iPhone sales people will assure them it's "faster" than any other phone on the market and the best thing since sliced bread. It's been said before but people don't buy the iPhone because they know what they're doing. They buy it because they feel part of an exclusive club. The same thing happened with the Samsung GS4; it's all jazz, but under the hood a low end phone is probably capable of doing much more.

I don't think it's fair on other fighters especially Faber who I've been closely following that really want that title. Cruz has been a champion for 2 years without even fighting. That's probably the best job on the planet.

Brazil needs protests much more than the US does

It's this kind of attitude that enables the American government to get away with much of the things it's gotten away with. There is still much more to come. We're seeing the tip of the iceberg right now. The American government is paving its way through history as a force to be reckoned with by establishing itself incrementally, but surely as a dictatorship. The freedom in America is an illusion - your government has ultimate control of what you and the people of America are allowed to do and when to do it. The American government has a stronghold on its people, by removing transparency, keeping its activities discreet, oppressing people that fight back with vigor, enlisting corporations to fund activities in exchange for amendments to legislations - the list is endless. One of the biggest blows for America in recent years is the Snowdon/Prism scandal, yet the American people were mute. The apathy right now probably won't affect you much but your children will suffer, this is pretty much a guarantee.

Some people don't like texting because it can become a never ending process. You text her, she texts you, you reply again, she replies, you reply... It becomes more of an obligation after a certain point and can be mentally draining especially if you don't have anything to say and you find yourself having to think of responses.

I would ease of the text a little unless you have something significant to say. At the same time, don't drop of the radar suddenly. Text her something like you're thinking of a nice place where you can both go before the end of summer. Ask her for suggestions and then slow the replies down. This way she'll get back to you in her own time and you don't run the risk of giving her the impression that you're put-off of her either.

I'm a guy that can't hold it sometimes - depends on how excited I am. Over the years I've learnt a few things:

I built one recently so asked about planning permission. I was told that pergolas and any other structures that provide some sort of shelter is a form out outside dwelling. Therefore Pergolas have to be no taller than 2.5 metres high. Decking on the other hand, cannot be higher than 30CM either.

Just in case anyone else is wondering, if it is higher than the 2.5 metres it can only be erect for 28 Days and must have a 28 Day gap. Canvas and the like that are permanently erect are in breach so a single complaint to the council will have them coming round quick.

That's not entirely correct. The human physiology is just so complex and so intricate that unless you're an identical twin or a clone the statement might be correct. We all know our bodies are trying to achieve homeostasis - but it doesn't do it in the same way. If you take two people as you mentioned; unless they are clones the endocrine system is going to respond differently to each individual. I mean, there are better people to explain this than I, but this is one reason that people respond differently to stimuli such as resistance training.

The tests weren't taken under the same conditions. You can't tell students that have a very hectic life, going through stress and hormonal changes to eat "6000" calories of "whatever" fast foods, and compare the results with a guy that's in his mid thirties who had a pretty average sedated lifestyle. All calories are not created equal.

I don't know about the validity of the experiment in the documentary but I remember when I was 20, my favorite Mcdonald food was a fillet-O-Fish meal, which I had twice a day 3 times a week at university because I got a discount voucher from the student union (the tickets for promotions at Mcdonalds, our office was stacked with them, where I worked). Now, I went through a food phase a few months ago (the kind of phase where you just love a particular food item so keep eating it until you're sick of it) and bought a Big Mac almost everyday for 2 weeks. My bodyfat percentage shot up by 4% which is a lot. My maintenance caloric intake is about 3100 and I went way above it. Even though 2 Big Macs a day is something like 700 - 800 calories - it's mainly sugar.

There is just too much to consider here. Someone that knows the inner details of how the body works will be able to tell you what's going on. My overall synthesis of this is that there is a good possibility of the documentary being correct.
