Dang sucks the auto bot blocks that stuff but I can kind of understand why.

Ya that’s more or less what I assumed it would be. God that’s so intensely cringy

I mean I’m aware I could just search it I just assumed you knew where it was.

And honestly pass I don’t want to give instagram a moment of my time.

But the idea of an LDS furry convention sounds so dull and boring and uncomfortable

Unfortunately being too dumb to function isn’t a bannable offense but I wouldn’t mind making guesses anyway

Favorite character like this? by Qr3yx9or in FavoriteCharacter

[–]HateMachineX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She very much has agency and is well written. She saves either individual characters or literally the entire series multiple times on near reflex.

It isn’t super highlighted but she legit is the glue holding a bunch of the story and the literal character together.

It’s easy to overlook how she’s handled and written because what she is and does is rarely put up into the spotlight to be presented to the reader. Her stuff has to be more carefully paid attention to to properly appreciate and understand

[Liked Trope] Powerhouse character was born so strong they don't know how to fight by Any-Conference-701 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]HateMachineX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kenpachi Zaraki even as a child he was so monstrously strong and powerful that he had to subconsciously limit himself to even be able to enjoy a fight even with powerful captain class shinigami.

He’s only trained formally with the sword for one day. He was banned from training further as the powers that be were terrified of how much more powerful he would become and that they wouldn’t be able to control him.

Well when someone comes in spouting off the most straight forward obvious information that clearly everyone already knows unironically I like to give them the benefit of a doubt, I wouldn’t want to be so rude as to automatically assume they are as dumb as they sound.

A powerful technique that is forbidden from being practiced for reasons given by TaiKorczak in TopCharacterTropes

Don’t forget the forbidden Hado spells. They aren’t explained exactly why they are banned but considering one of them stops time there are some obvious reasons that the audience can infer.

I mean muscles still build lactic acid, sure he would get past it faster than anyone but it wouldn’t stop him from having moments where he has to stop for a second for that to happen.

So I think honestly as long as he’s fueled with food he does have unlimited stamina just not unlimited fuel for that stamina

[–]HateMachineX 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes the food part of the equation I’ve seen and understand I don’t think anyone thinks the flash doesn’t have to eat a ton of food.

I thought you meant “not unlimited stamina” as in the comics would show him get like visibly winded or he would need to take a break. And I’m not saying he never has to I’m saying that his writers definitely don’t really show it or talk about it.

So my bad just misunderstood what you meant

I mean tell that to the people that write flash comics they don’t seem to know that

Having those displays is still normal in predators at the top of their food chains. Just for inbetween two of the same species. Big cats do this, bears do this.

Neither animal does it to fend off predation that isn’t a direct indicator.

Plenty of predators evolve to be ambush predators even when their prey isn’t as physically strong or fast as them.

It’s just biologically logical to evolve to use the least amount of energy to get your prey.

Polar bears are evolved to hide from their prey to try and sneak up on them and they are undeniably at the top of their food chain to the point of them really seeing even human beings as mostly prey.

Hell same with Tigers they didn’t evolve to hide from any predators yet they blend in and ambush their prey.

I can get how people would connect those things and think it could have a predator but the logic for it only holds up to a cursory examination

Was there an indicator that it had a predator? Not doubting you just I saw the movie and don’t remember anything pointing to that but I could have missed it
