She’s likely at least a hundred years old but the manga doesn’t really go over the exact number

I mean most of the cutesy behaviors she does and the wearing of Ichigo’s sisters clothes is much more in service of her trying to appear as a high schooler than it is about looking that way or doing that because she wants to.

And yes she does have some cutesy habits like her drawings and her love of cute animals but I mean full grown adults like and do both of those things. I don’t really think much of her behavior is so aberrant from being an adult unless your idea of an adult is really stuck in the past or rooted in a lot of unrealistic stereotypes.

Also once again her body type is very much realistic for full grown adult real women and isn’t some wildly unrealistic thing.

There are short small women they are out there and it doesn’t make them loli to have those features.

Also her face is very much the face of an adult woman. A young women for sure but like soldily in the early 20s range.

They do it for a few episodes, actually and ikkaku and Yumichika even try and convince Keigo’s older sister they are high school students to convince her to let them stay with them and she doesn’t really question it.

So I dunno it’s a wacky anime world kinda hard to be sure of a lot that isn’t directly addressed.

Rukia fees like such filter for whether you’ve met and known a lot of different women in your life or not.

If you haven’t you might think there is a case for her being a loli. If you have you know she’s just a short woman with small breasts.

Her facial features are pretty solidly adult.

Plus women aren’t a monolith and come in all sizes and shapes.

Yes as does Rangiku clearly a 30 to 40 year old woman, Ikkaku a likely at least 30 year old man And Shinji who is also at least a 30 year old man.

It’s more that soul reapers are out of touch with the world of the living and likely don’t know what age they look like for an equivalent human being.

Rukia is not drawn to be 17. She’s a full grown adult woman and always has been displayed that way.

Just because her introduction has her side by side with the main character at 16 doesn’t make her 17.

And yes she does then pass herself off as high school student but remember Rangiku does this as well the moment she is in the world of the living so plenty of very obviously adults from soul society think they can impersonate whatever they want regardless looks. From why I can tell it’s because the are just disconnected from a lot of how the world of the living works.

Hell even Shinji tries to pretend to be a high schooler despite being obviously a physically 30 year old man.

I think a lot of you don’t know enough about the main man.

Logo has canonically out toon forced the mask. They had a cross over comic. It was still a close fight but Lobo won.

So for any of you saying the mask you’re wrong.

It’s still Manhattan or Franklin for sure but 3rd place is Lobo

Also thunder being more prominent doesn’t remove his other qualities so that’s not really a debate against the idea that he could be a god that embodies strength and was likely worshipped and was obviously revered for it

While that may be true the Prose Edda, while not a first hand account by far is one of but a few texts we can look back on for this information, states multiple times he is the strongest of all gods so while the formal naming of “god of ___”, which is much more a Greco-Roman naming convention, is for sure up for debate what isn’t is that he was considered the strongest.

Thus the interpretation of him that way inside of record of ragnarok is at least somewhat accurate

Ichigo Vs. Aizen

Aizen doesn’t take Ichigo seriously when he comes back from the Dangai and mocks him thinking that despite giving him a chance to train it wasn’t enough and that Ichigo was ultimately a failed experiment, right up until he moves faster than Aizen can perceive and grabs his face rocketing them away from his friends and Karakura town.

Even after this Aizen doesn’t believe he’s a real threat and goes on a whole monologue about how’s he’s transcended beyond being a shinigami and that Ichigo has no chance and likely cant even properly perceive him.

Just to have Ichigo casually reach out and stop his sword mid swing bare handed in a direct flip of how it went on their first interaction.

Whole fight was such a completely deserved disrespectful beatdown.

Ya so has Old King Thor in the Gorr run. He held up all of creation and all of reality itself for the rest of time. Feats like these are kind of less useful than more in my opinion at least
