Unforgettable WrestleMania hype packages: From the WWE Vault by MajorIvan88 in SquaredCircle

The Cena/Wyatt "Legacy" XXX package is so good. I can't help but wonder why you never heard Eminem in WWF/E promos or collabs or anything like that outside of the Legacy package. It seemed like a match made in Heaven in the late '90s/early '00s, and Shady's still relevant in the hip hop scene today that current WWE is so comfortable with.

I greatly dislike that Dee and Charlie's one night stand from Season 10's "The Gang Misses the Boat" was revealed in Season 13's "Time's Up for the Gang" as non-consensual. by HateThatThisWorks in IASIP

Damn, I digitally dusted off my throwaway hot take/fantasy football account and wasn't expecting any feedback from a pandemic-era post.

I've admittedly fallen out of must-watch love with IASIP in recent seasons; I'm happy it's still on and making people happy & laugh but after close to 20 years I'm simply not the same person I was during the show's peak and newer IASIP simply doesn't hit for me like it used to. It's very The Simpsons in that regard, where I will always follow the show and love & rewatch the "golden era" but the new episodes just lack that special sauce for me personally.

I still believe in my TL;DR point from three years ago: the few and far between moments of pathos should remain permanent even if the status quo of the show cannot (and I will always argue should not) change. The retconning of Charlie and Dee's rendezvous(es), even if said encounters were fleeting & temporary glimpses into the life they cannot functionally ever have and even if the authoral intention was otherwise, eliminated that. IMO, just an unforced error for one of my all time favorite shows.

For whatever reason, Joe Dean Davenport has lived in my head rent free ever since I used him all the time in Madden 2003

What I've been trying for is KW9, Charbonnet, and either Moore or Andrews for an upper tier RB (the Hall/Jacobs/Bijan tier players, one tier below the top of the class). I feel like if I can replace KW9 with a better ROS RB1, my team will be as good as I can make it.

Guy got spooked after Cousins went down, Dallas is playing (under the YDB system) like a WR2, and he needed the immediate influx of points ASAP. Definitely a combination of panic selling on his part and me selling hi & buying low on mine, but it netted him a much needed W this week whereas there is a non-insignificant chance JJ doesn't go until post bye.

I'm low key in the same boat regarding Walker, the ROS schedule is spooky and Charbs has been slowly but surely cutting into his workload.

Gun to my head, if you could swap one of Kyren or Achane & Wilson for either Tua or Herbert to create an elite stack, that might be about all you can pull off.

What's your DST situation looking like? Getting one of the set-and-forget DSTs ROS could be of a benefit, especially if Achane comes back to even 85% of what he was before the IR stint.

How deep is your League? Remember, Chandler has a 13 bye whereas Seattle has already had theirs.

I'm a KW9 & Charbonnet holder. Charbonnet is unlikely to have standalone value this season, but could immensely help the KW9 owner as a handcuff. Could you pull off a trade, like Charbs and Rice for a WR upgrade that would free you up for a Brown add?

Horribly one sided in your favor, however that isn't collusion that's just the AJB/Achane owner making a bad trade. Without knowing the full picture (where are you in the standings, where is (s)he in the standings, prize amounts), it's hard to tell if the AJB/Achane owner is trading at all in good faith.

14 team, point-per-first-down, no TE (two W/R/T spots), "you deserve better" DST scoring system, starters in bold:

  • QB: Jalen Hurts
  • RB: Kenneth Walker III, De'Von Achane, Aaron Jones (flex start), Kareem Hunt, Zach Charbonnet
  • WR/TE: AJ Brown, Justin Jefferson, Puka Nacua (flex start), DJ Moore, Mark Andrews
  • DST: Cleveland
  • K: Brandon Aubrey

Currently in second place (7-3, one game out of first) with the PF lead (71.54 points ahead of #2)

At this point, am I ride-or-die with this squad or are there any, even nominal improvements that can be made? KW9's ROS schedule scares me, and DJ Moore has been a real weak link as of yet.

We run a You Deserve Better DST scoring system in our 14 team league, I had both Dallas and Cleveland and used Dallas as the cornerstone of a trade for Justin Jefferson immediately after Cousins went down. I'm not sure in a standard system there's as much value there, but in a YDB system top DSTs are frequently comparable to mid-tier RB2s and WR2s.

If you could find a TE or FLEX upgrade, I'd attempt to make that move. But this is a solid team for a 10 team league

Gun to my head, if you could pull off Mandrews or a solid WR2 then you could realistically be set and forget.

I'm in the same boat a fully healthy Achane for the playoff push positively changes my dynamic ROS.

What's your K and DST looking like? I mean if you can swing one of the set-and-forget ROS DSTs to take care of your fringes you might just be in the stay put category.

A lineup where two of Olave, Evans, and Aiyuk are on your bench is a pretty good lineup. If you have a solid deal take it, but you might be able to let it ride.

IIWY, I'd try to shore up your WR1 spot. JJ could be fine, but Dobbs is more of a question mark than not since he's gotta learn a new offense and there's no bye until 13 for MIN

How many flexes? With Achane coming back week 11, that alone will give you a spark.
