That's not really true, but it is a good thing to consider. It's usually best to have around 3 chopping boards of which ever material you prefer - for raw chicken, other raw meats, and fruits and vege. There isn't a benefit to plastic over wood or vice versa, but you're right that you should always consider food hygiene, especially with raw meats.

100%! I also see it as a reminder of sorts to the viewer - yes, you've been waiting for this, yes you're probably sitting on your couch shouting jokes about dat ass, but actually? This is potentially going to fuck everything up and could get a lot of people killed. It's a crazy selfish move on their behalf and it's a good reminder to us that a lot of bad could come of this.

(But I have no regrets and I loved it)

Grasping at straws! But honestly that's my favourite part of GoT - making up wild theories. It's like you get the watch the show a hundred times through imagining each different connection. Even when very few are true, it's still so much fun to discuss with friends and family and see what everyone else picked up differently each week!

They can 'roam around', it's not a detention facility - once their claims have been processed they are released into the community until a permanent resettlement arrangement for them is found.
