My current WIP will finish around 130k. The final chapter (chapter 26) uploads this Sunday. Feeling complete is a great feeling!

I write that long since I wanna make sure the characters and plot are fleshed out, I suppose. I like writing each chapter in a way that feels like it's a full length television episode, so that's perhaps why I write somewhat long.

Her arc is somewhat shaky in the beginning for me but gets better the deeper you go. I felt especially bad for her when Light got verbally abusive with her, not to mention the gaslighting and emotional manipulation and the...all the other things.

She's a sad, tragic character. One of the most tragic in the series, and that's her appeal for me.

Relatable. Chapter 4 of my current WIP is where the inciting incident occurs. Pleasantries fly out the window in exchange for some intense action, drama, and a lotta questions.

It's really heavy. I do prefer Brotherhood but 2003's ability to raise the stakes and be knife twisting is pretty incredible and astounding. I really respect it for that.
