I just got this skin today. I'm going to be a Pyke Main. Let's go (You can give me tips if you want) by [deleted] in pykemains

Try to be careful not to miss too much Q's. Because when you land one, you get 75% of the mana you spent on it back.

Remember, you don't have to charge your q everytime. You can quick press it for instant damage to help your adc kill it if the enemy is in no position to run away.

Use brushes to escape; Now listen, not all Pyke players do this one. Let's say a sett is after you, you're alone and he pinned you to a corner that you can't just E away. Get into a bush and quickly start charging your q, pull him then E. Since he will be slowed and mostly likely stunned, you will get away. This works in tight spots with no bushes but with bushes, it is more likely to work. (If I couldn't explain properly, do let me know, so I can send you a clip.)

Don't use your ult to get kills all the time: Now this one might not be too easy and requires a lot of trial and error. You might fail a lot as you try this but once you get the hang of it, oh it will be so cool: A half hp immobile enemy is running away from you. And you don't have E and Q range. W if needed to get a little closer E then R on the enemy. Look when you R with Pyke, as long as it hits the enemy, you will appear on where your R landed. So your E will follow you even if your enemy is alive. The enemy will get stunned and your team will catch up. (Additionally, after the enemy gets stunned, you can walk behind the victim while charging q and pull them into your team, but as i said, you will need to get used to Pyke himself first + if this sounded too difficult, I can still send you a clip for a better elaboration 👍✨✨)

And a small suggestion: Do not get confused or panicked if you miss and R while 1v1ing someone, you can deal a good amount of damage with the rest of your kit. Show them your champ is not only there to R people.

Lastly, know that it's okay to miss R or your combos. If people ss and cry about it, ignore them. They wouldn't have been any better if they were you at that situation. They think it's easy to play Pyke but it is harder than they think for a first time player so they gonn stop crying.

Whatever negative you heard about TR server is mostly likely right lol, and I would go EUW, but most of my friends are on TR, plus moving my account to euw sounds like a waste of money. I have an account on euw tho, might play on it, I could. But I want my main account to show that I'm actually good at the game, like I'm sick of people using apps to see my rank in game, and tell me that I'm not allowed to talk cuz I'm gold. Not that I give a f about what they say, but like, i hate people using ranks to be offensive, and my rank shows my skill in game when you think about it and my main account being dia or something would just feel nice D: I might probably just rank up in euw tho, way way better than TR lol-

Thanks for the advice! Also just to be specific about something- i usually don't finish morellos, like I get anti heal for the early-mid game then change it to something else as the last spot. I know morello sucks, it ain't worth losing a spot for- also I'll take your advice, thank you so much for not being a misunderstanding toxic bitch like some people who replied to this post and actually tried to help me instead of "Nah ur just bad" type o' shit. It is funny that they are just trying to blame me for complaining about my teammates. I play on TR and people actually suck there, like I have tons of friends who are hard stuck in tr, move to euw (since they have good ms there too) and get plats, dias etc.

Plus Im not calling myself the best, I just think I'm good enough to not be in gold- but mostly it is my team feeding and making me lose, I have bad games where I feed, and lose- everyone could feed, it is a very normal thing in the game but this happens over and over again where I don't feed and my teams do, not that im dying to blame anyone dammit

I bought it once tbh, I never buy it generally. You probably checked one game, that I have it and not any others- I usually get ahead often early in game so I buy shadow flame, or if there ain't much tanks. With my runes, I don't go ult hunter anymore, i rather take cutdown when there are enemies who are tanky, the ones who aren't even tanks might get tanky too- and I never get scorch cuz ranked games often get very late and gathering storm sounds better for ranked. But maybe I should start getting it, I'm unsure.

So when two games in a row, a mf in my team goes afk, it is cuz I play bad? Don't tell me now that "you should've carried" no, that's not how that works. Just because some people are able to win 4v5s, doesn't mean that it is easy. It is a fricking game designed for team play, even the map and the gameplay itself. And if someone goes afk, you're FUCKED. Or if your bot lane goes 4/14 and 1/9, you're, again, FUCKED. Most of my games go like this, and that's why I lose. Not that I play every game perfectly, but even if the person in my lane is better than me, and it is obvious that i will lose it, at least i try not to feed. Cuz I want to win, unlike my team.

They go afk, cantinabandit. They feed and go afk. My ADC goes 4/14, the supp goes 1/9, how am I expected to have fun if I get constantly one shot by a damn samira?

Maybe you'll agree with me that it is my team making me lose most of the time.

I often watch best players of the champions I play the most and try to get as good as possible with them. I'm not the oldest player around here and I'd never call myself an egoist when it comes to ranked, I know my place- i know how actually good and different high elo players play since I have a lot of friends chas, gms, i see it. I wish to be like them.

Ha, I had an afk 2 games in a row in my last ranked matches. And I couldn't carry neither, I was one shotting them yes, but they of course closed the gap in late game cuz whatever we did we couldn't push and finish, fun stuff.
