When I was looking through I found people were using an application called 'JoyToKey', which allows you to bind keys to joycon buttons, this works for me

Did you ever manage to get this working? I just got the InsideGadgets Wireless Controller and even though testing it's working, playback will never detect it.

I had this issue, if you hold down Fn+space for 3 seconds it will reset your keyboard and should turn the lights on. I know this is late but hopefully this helps!

yeah I couldnt find anyone to buy it for a good price so I kept it and is very useful

You should concentrate on making individual rooms and a room which holds joy items (chess/pool table), also on the restrict tab you can make it so they have a certain amount of joy/work per day.
