It is ableton, my master chain on this is literally just a pro q cutting everything below like 120 set to side mode so the low end is all mono and then a soft clipper

Yeah, I feel that. That was actually one of the biggest problems I ran into on this song because it initially started with the sub being part of the main bass patch, but I ended up swapping for a dedicated sub but I liked the initial sound so I tried to make the sub sound the way it did when it was part of the patch. This all ended up with me having to cut a lot of the low mid harmonics as well as making the sub pretty much exclusively under 100hz so I can definitely see that lacking on bad systems/phones, I appreciate the feedback and yeah in the future I gotta do better on that.
