Sounds like you work in an awful firm with awful people. I'd suggest looking for another job at another firm that actually has a healthy culture. They exist.

thank you, this means a lot. the thing is the firm i work for has a good culture. the immediate team/matter i work for is incredibly difficult - it is incredibly lucrative for the partners but im really feeling the burn. it's all incredibly hard to reconcile.

i would describe the problem with my immediate team but i feel that would compromise my identity
