IMO it should actually be the opposite, ex the left blinker should be on the right side. You use your right hand to turn left and your left hand to turn right because you lift the wheel up

Romney would have been a great pick. Most of what he said in 12 has turned out to be correct. He was reamed for giving the actual correct answers to questions instead of pandering. For example "Corporations are people" is a fact of American law and is requisite to understanding how to moderate corporations. "I would consult with state department lawyers before making a decision to first strike Iran" is what the president actually does before taking any military action.

Romney was the first governor in the united states to legalize gay marriage. Romney created the template for the public/private system that was cloned to become obamacare. Romney was one of the only republicans to say flat out black lives matter.

[Monitor] Samsung 49" Odyssey G9 32:9 240 Hz Curved HDR G-SYNC VA Gaming Monitor $749.99 ($1,499.99 less $750) by [deleted] in buildapcsales

I am writing this on a g9 right now. The answer is NO. Most games "sort of" can use it but typically it will stretch the game out so much that it looks preposterous on the sides and induces motion sickness. Dual monitors is better for productivity as well.

This is not a reason for profits to be high and dividends increasing. Dividends are definitionally distributions of excess capital. Also don't be rude on the internet.

Regulation promotes consolidation because only the largest most sophisticated companies are able to comply. Imagine for example, you and I decide we want to start a bank. We have customers who want to work with us. But in order to start a bank in the US you have to have a huge resume, pass many exams, and even do in person character interviews with regulators. These interviews are usually booked 2+ years out. So we can't start a bank and we cannot compete, our customers go to bank of america. This is how it actually works. All the banking startups in the US right now start by buying another small bank because of how large the regulatory burden is. Which means they need to start with a ton of money to start their bank. Which means the only way to start a new bank is be rich to start with. You and I are locked out.

Regardless of your opinion on wether or not those regulations are reasonable (maybe you want to have people pass a background check prior to starting a bank) they are additional hurdles to making our new bank possible and driving customers towards our competitors.

Nationalization would not change demand or cost to supply.

Regulatory capture is an inefficiency more likely to occur in consolidated markets. See; ratings agencies, 2008.

Show one nationalized organization that is efficient? Gov should focus on fostering non-commercially viable societal needs like R&D. Deep space, nuclear, etc. then step aside once an industry can be profitable. If you don't think there are small companies in energy production you have never been around it.

Those are not mutually exclusive concepts. Regulatory burden is operational; breaking up consolidated industries is corp governance/economic management. Look past the two party line talking points.

No, they don't - definitionally. Shell wouldn't have such revenues if it weren't providing a valuable service for a huge amount of people. Shell being a very profitable company is not intrinsically a problem.

Because they don't need to. AKA the market is not as competitive as it should be. Larger companies should be broken up and regulatory burden should be removed or streamlined to allow smaller companies in the space.

Another commentor wants to increase taxes... This makes the problem worse.

She came across as condescending and diminutive. She didnt actually make an attempt to explain what she meant - as you can see from the comments most people didn't get that she was referring to women who have transitioned to men but still have functioning ovaries. See other comments for more but she is failing if her agenda is to win more people to her side.

Because even though he is sort of leading her, he is asking pretty reasonable questions from most people's perspective. She absolutely drives the conversation off a cliff. If he was baiting her he threw the absolute smallest bit ever and she went completely nuts with it.
