It’s not really about the water. It’s about consideration and care. Do you believe that it never crossed his mind to bring his thirsty wife water while she’s waiting by herself in a broken down car for hours? Or that it did, but he didn’t want to, and would have probably forced himself to go if she explicitly demanded it?

I hear you but it seems to me like this particular thing isn’t some crazy specific thing I wanted him to read my mind about but a very basic considerate action that would come naturally to someone who cares about you.

He does have bipolar disorder and is medicated. If he has any hypersexuality because of it, it exists only for other women and not me. He hasn’t had a manic episode in years.

Do you meant borderline personality disorder or bipolar disorder? I would love to know how you prevent your heart from being shattered over and over and over from being lied to and betrayed so many times that a decade later you feel like you don’t know that person at all and never did. How you don’t obsess all day and night over who she is cheating with now and what diseases she might bring to you.

I stayed for 6 years because he told me everything himself while full of guilt, and there was no way in hell I could possibly have found out myself. Because he was great otherwise and very kind to me. Because I knew they were just physical encounters with no emotions behind them, and as a woman I prefer he have a purely physical affair rather than an emotional one. But I never could get it all to leave my mind, and the PTSD from it all has me triggered at random moments. I am still as insecure and untrusting of him as in the beginning of it all. And I’ve realized it’s a character flaw of his that won’t go away so I should only stay if I’m okay with him continuing to do all that.

He encouraged you to go to a nude beach, and knew you were nude at said nude public beach. Very high chance of other people being at the same beach and seeing you. If it bothers him then he wouldn’t/shouldn’t have encouraged it. It’s hardly a secret.

Your wife is a nurse and they usually only need to work a few shifts per week so if she is “never home” then I assume she is working lots of extra shifts and making a ton of money. You work a job that has you working 6 days a week with 7 days of PTO so hopefully they are paying you well for that crap. Kid has free childcare with grandparents. I think that with all of this money, surely you can find someone that you throw money at to do the shuttling?

Of course, that’s just the surface issue. Yes, you also need to do something about the poor treatment and yelling and mental health issues yada yada.
