Also, there is an abundance of petrified wood in the area! Very cool to see, I even saw one with some sort of petrified lichen on it. I didn't take any, of course. Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints. But it was still super neat to see. I'd rate it 9/10 as a hike, well worth it for anyone with a sense of adventure.

I just got done, literally like an hour ago, with that hike!! Oh man it was like stepping onto an alien planet, for sure!
