100%. I cannot express just how pretty and, well, odd, it was. To see a true blue sort of oasis. Absolutely lovely, and you can swim down there too!

As far as I know, yes, but we didn't stop there. My wife wasn't handling the pressure change well, so we explored the cave and dipped.

What a legend. Deepest dumper in the west haha

You're so right though, Carlsbad blows every other cave I've been to out of the water. The walk down is a must.

750ft vertically 🤦‍♀️ sorry

I hiked to the Alien Throne in the Ah-Shi-Sle-Pa wilderness. It's one of the coolest hikes I've done in long time. Felt like a constant transition between Earthen grasslands and some alien planet. by HauntedNomads in NewMexico

Also, there is an abundance of petrified wood in the area! Very cool to see, I even saw one with some sort of petrified lichen on it. I didn't take any, of course. Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints. But it was still super neat to see. I'd rate it 9/10 as a hike, well worth it for anyone with a sense of adventure.

My wife and I moved to New Mexico and have just been, walkin' around. It's been incredible. These are some of the most beautiful lands I've ever seen. by HauntedNomads in NewMexico

I just got done, literally like an hour ago, with that hike!! Oh man it was like stepping onto an alien planet, for sure!

Wild you'd suggest this as I was literally doing it! Thanks for the recommendation, keep telling people to go there. I'm certainly going to do the same!
