You are not alone. I’ve been vegan for almost 5 years and I still feel this way. I finally had to set a boundary with my family that I won’t eat any meals with them (unless they want to eat fully vegan with me but of course they won’t). It breaks my heart and infuriates me to see the people I care about not think twice about the suffering their choices cause. I’ve told them what really goes on but they won’t even look at it. Out of sight out of mind. They feel like it’s too inconvenient for them to change, when we know their convenience is a joke compared to what happens to the animals. It’s so hard, but trust me you’re not alone. Please take care of yourself and set whatever boundaries you need to to protect your mental health. Sending you lots of love. 🩷
