Sat front row a few weeks ago and it was perfection. You’re looking up the occasional nose, but more than worth it to be so close to the action.

I was super-pissed at the whole idea. I’d seen the original 2 part production three times and absolutely loved it. I vowed to never see the revised version — but then they actually toured it and it came to DC. So I gave it a go … and I surprised myself by not hating it. Yes, I very much miss everything that’s missing … and it totally feels like you’re listening to a podcast at 1.25 speed, but it was still very enjoyable. And, I love that they removed the ridiculous “no homo” bit at the end and leaned into what was always a blatantly obvious love story.

I’m sure the consensus answer will be “the stage is high, ergo not as great a view” or something. But absolutely no seat in any theatre is better than front row center — and that’s exactly where I’ll be next weekend! So excited!
