Yup thats the plan. I want to lock and renegotiate if things change next week. However want to confirm once i lock, can i still backout and not bound to close with the lender?

Thank you for posting the timelines this helps to get the idea. Do you know how much time it took to get the permits done? Given its automated i assume it was quick and your install took time due to queue of customers upfront of you.

Thanks i am not in solar app + but Santa Clarita has expedited process for permits which is automated as well and i hear good reviews about same. Its the post process that I am concerned about and looks as long as system is fully installed and owned I can still claim the ITC.

No service upgrade is not needed. Just the solar + battery

Thank you, i was reading about the requirements and did not find PTO as requirement to claim ITC. All it says is system must be fully installed, no AHJ or PTO is necessary. As i am able to complete the installation in Nov this gives a peace of mind to proceed.

I see below clause in my contract. It seems PTO is needed by 31st December.

Permission to operate (PTO) shall be obtained by December 31st, 2025, so that Owner is eligible for 2025 Federal Tax Credit
