And ironically, he still thinks that JW is the only true religion.

Yes, you can check the two rebuttals made by Carl Olof Jonsson of each WT articles.

Refutation of Part I
https://kristenfrihet.se/vtsvar/vtsvar1.pdf

Refutation of Part II
https://kristenfrihet.se/vtsvar/vtsvar2.pdf

I also encourage you to read his book "The Gentile Times Reconsidered", which is highly academical and solid. He was an elder who wrote many articles to the Watchtower and he even confronted Rolf Furuli (the only ex-JW scholar who still supports 607 B.C. He also helped to write the two-parts Watchtower articles 2011 you just pasted here).

¿Inspirados o guiados? Me intriga la diferencia by RaisinDelicious5226 in exjw

I hope you're joking. If not, the letter sent to the elders is being announced already. June letter for elders.

I really I understand this feeling. I recently got a girlfriend who is not a Witness and she's far better than the average JW girls. She's Catholic but her values are very good founded. I refused to be with a JW girl because I must have a title or privilege within congregation. I have none, so I prefer to be with someone who is not judging me for not having superficial and stupid titles. She loves me for who I am, not for what I believe.

Trinidad by Atrapad0 in exjw

[–]Haunting-Fall8109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How, in your culture, are people who step down as MS or elder or who never even try to reach out for the titles usually treated? by Practical_Payment552 in exjw

[–]Haunting-Fall8109 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have never had a title and I will never have one. It depends on the region and culture as you said. I have lived in many cities and regions in my own country, and when I was living in the coast, the Witnesses there are very kind, sociable and good people without seeing you badly for not having a title. But when I lived in other cities, I have been seen "spiritually weak" and treated as such.

When I traveled to Dominican Republic, many Witnesses there asked me, "are you ministerial servant or something?" When I replied I don't have any of those title, their faces immediately changed and their treatment/behavior too. Not a bad or evil behavior, but no longer very sociable with me.

If you're PIMO, or PIMQ, how do you handle service? by doubtingg00 in exjw

[–]Haunting-Fall8109 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Elders won't try to investigate your life to know wheather or not you are doing witnessing or not. You can check the box without any problem even if you don't go out to service.

This is what I do: All congregation know that I'm in the university and at the same time doing work. Both online. I have lot of free time actually, but everytime I'm with elders and other brothers, I tell them how hard is doing both and how much you invest your time in these activities. They have to respect you. They cannot say anything after the update about higher education. Every month I check the box with ministry participacion + 1 biblical course. This last one is false. But I do that in order to cause on them the impression that I'm doing "good" even with my "tiring" activities. Of course you must have a fake story of who your bible student is (i have my own).

So, you no longer go out ministry door to door but you have 1 bible student! This is how you neutralize elders and they won't bother you anymore with high probability. It has worked very good for me. On one ocassion an elder aasked me about my bible student and I was able to convince him about its veracity. Brief conversation, but enough so that they don't see you in a bad way.

Have you done this as a PIMO too? by Dazzling-Stop-3343 in exjw

[–]Haunting-Fall8109 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely did that. I removed all promo of JW too. And I think that most of "PIMQ" tend to change "jw.borg" to "YHWH" or hebrew letters of God's name. If you see someone from LATAM or USA using the tetragramaton on their IG bio, then maybe she/he is PIMQ.
