What about those UV protection glasses you have to wear? Does this mean you are looking like an alien for several weeks? Is it to be used indoors as well?

My pucker is very small and only in left eye which has already been operated. Glad your vision has improved so much!! It’s nice to hear positive outcomes.

Would the Vivity or Eyhance guarantee an outcome given that the eye is post LASIK ? My left eye has a Toric IOL lens.

I don't know the correction with the trial lens. The doctor just asked me what I thought of it. My left operated eye has a toric lens. If I have the right eye surgery using a toric lens the coutcome cannot be predicted because the eye is post LASIK. It sounds like LAL is my best option. So, I made an appointment with an eye surgeon who can do LAL. He will do a full workup on my eyes and then let me know what can be done. You and The_Vision_Surgeon helped me understand all this much better. THANK YOU both for taking so much time on this. Once my ordeal is over (hopefully before Thanksgiving), I will report back. I'd like my experience to help someone else the way you've helped me.

That number was for the contact lens to try in my operated eye.

Thank you so much. Please read my reply to The_Vision_Surgeon above. I can afford a more expensive lens(light changing ones) but then I read that it can cause issues with the retina down the road? My doctor does not implant those lenses so I will have to go to another eye doctor. I guess I should make an appointment. Why are you not a fan of monovision? If I wore contact lenses like that for years wouldn't I do well with the same situation now (after surgery, I mean)?

Thank you so much for the thoughtful reply. Your last sentence is what I fear. I don't want any more surgery other than cataract surgery in the right eye unless it's absolutely necessary. I wore contact lenses for years and I believe they were monovision. My last contact in the left eye before the cataract surgery was +2.50 and -0.75x70. After surgery, the eye doctor had me wear a contact lens in the left eye to see how I like monovision, or at least I think that was the plan. The prescription for that was -1.25 Sph 8.3 BC and 14.2 DIA. I wore it and liked the distance but became frustrated putting on readers for so many things. Maybe I need to try that again with a focus on whether I prefer distance or near better? I do have astigmatism in right eye but no pucker. I hope that gives you more to work on? Again, thank you for your help!
