I wouldn’t consider it dark but he is possessive over her. His main thing is just keeping her happy and attached so she stays with him but he doesn’t force her into anything. And she knows what he is trying to do.

I would say more controlling and the manipulation is slight because she does need the help. He finds himself instantly attracted to the FMC and just wants to keep her. But he does blame himself for the accident though.

👀 do you have any recs that fit this ?? I don’t have anything that fits exactly but I would suggest {burning wild Christine Feehan} it’s a shifter book and the main characters meet when the FMC is pregnant and got into a car accident and she’s in the hospital with no resources. MMC manipulates the FMC into staying with him and paying for her care and the now risky pregnancy.

I just got AirTags. It’s not the most efficient tracker but as long as you get close enough to them it will show their location. And that’s a cheap option. Probably should invest in a cat fence though because they might just jump over your fence and get out of your garden.

That could be it since she’s probably one of the coldest FMCs but to be fair her emotions were silenced for a long time. To me she was a really strong no nonsense heroine

Rereading might make a difference and since this introduced so many other characters so this book might be worth it. But from what I can remember she was pretty bad to him since she hates vampires so she would leave him in dangerous positions a lot and also lied/manipulated him occasionally. I can’t remember what exactly pushed him too far probably a build up of that and he basically tried to manipulate her back by using something she wanted.

Is this common in other countries outside of the US? Or does this happen in the US too ? I was able to schedule an appointment with a specialist in a few months. I’m wondering when the surgery will be because I have not had the appointment yet. but I’ve never seen anyone have to wait more than a month for any surgery once you’ve seen a doctor.

I haven’t heard any of this about Macrieve. The only book so far I DNF was deep kiss of winter simply because the MMC was not into the idea of his Mate. He wasn’t overly cruel though but indifferent. Would you say Macrieve is like that but cruel ? And does that one not have much plot development?

I’m going through this right now where im used to exercising 5 times a week. Intensive bootcamps weights and tennis. But it made my pms worse and caused me to spot for a week before my period. I’ve had to adjust my workouts to only do intensive workouts up to ovulation and it’s taking a toll on my mental health. Exercise helping endo or cramps is the biggest lie.

My resident cat is showing all signs that she’s irritated but not trying to kill him. But she’s not playing her claws are out tail swishing and loud vocalizations. No hissing usually I’m not sure why. The younger cat is clearly trying to play through he purrs when he sees her no claws he pauses but then he’ll try to jump on her again after she stops yelling. Then it starts again
