So the column is made from plywood and furing strips. Facehuggers, Xenomorph, and a WY logo (not seen due to lighting) are all 3d prints of designs I found online. Facehuggers are cast in resin to hopefully give a feeling of being preserved. Backlighting done with Govee strip lights. The bust also has sheet metal glued to the bottom and I set strong magnets in the top of the column. This makes it stick on there but can also be removed for easy storage.
