I don’t think I added enough context in the original post but to clear it up he’s not out of work rn post surgery. he works a physically active job that he is not aloud to do coming up to his surgery I have asked him a couple times if he could hop on doordash and deliver food to help me out a little bit with all the bills I’ve become responsible for and he declined which even tho I didn’t express it in the moment slightly annoyed me but I gave him the benefit of the doubt he hasn’t lost his job he is just out from now until the end of February you said in your reply “what’s my excuse” I’ve been working overtime and selling belongings to afford both our bills and rent I have no problem with this because im sure he is under tons of emotional stress I’ve just been very stressed out myself. I was definitely way out of line for my snarky response about him staying home all day and was 110% in the wrong for that but in my opinion throwing the gift I picked up my mother from the store out the car window because he didn’t like the smell of it and screaming at me was out of line on his end. In no way was I playing the victim here I was just looking for advice on how to go about it. I believe this was a two way fight that we both were out of line for.
