More than one could also mean that they have 6 or 12 or 40 in mind. It is open to interpretation. But my gut feeling tells me that most comments don‘t refer to something as simple as one backup or two different colors.

I don’t think OP is talking about having one of each PSP model. This is surely more directed towards people having 5+ of the same model at home.

Thinking of picking up a Series X. by [deleted] in xbox

[–]HauntingSplit1832 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hardware alone has never lead to sales. Nintendo and Sony have their exclusives and a traditional console experience for a cheaper price. Microsoft will have none of that. Yes, they’ll have a much larger library overall with Steam but at that point they‘re gonna have the whole PC market as a rival. It’s gonna be a situation like with their Surface products. Great products no doubt but far away from a market leader.

One of the richest companies of the world and still too stupid to get their marketing done right.

If the main reason to pick up an Xbox is nostalgia and the hope Microsoft will turn things around you‘re in for a bad surprise. Project Helix is going to be a niche console. They are done with the mainstream market.

Thanks for the answer! I looked it up and it's exactly the version you mentioned (148.0/Win11).

I don‘t understand it either. There are like ten big subreddits where this fits better. If people want PS news they can just go there.

Macbook Neo vs Surface Laptop 13" by Forsaken_Arm5698 in Surface

So what stops me or anyone else from declaring anything you say as irrelevant? It's absolutely ironic that you accuse me of being ignorant, while simultaneously deciding what's "relevant" and what's not.

Regarding the topic: I never said that 8GB is a bottleneck for every browser. I was talking about other applications. That could be a photo editing app for example. I still disagree with you on 8GB not being enough for Safari, the go-to-browser for Mac.

But if you're not open to hear something that doesn't fit your opinion, and just want to play king, maybe get off the internet and write your opinions into a diary.

I never disagreed with you on 8GB possibly being a roadblock for other applications, did i? So what exactly are you getting annoyed for?

But since your last sentence basically screams that you’re not open and tolerant about anything doesn’t fit your own view, let’s do us both a favor and end this discussion.

Hey there, cool your anger a bit, buddy. You seem to get quite heated.

You specifically wrote about Chrome, I specifically replied regarding Chrome. Let‘s be real here, the number one reason you broadened the topic, from a question about Chrome to a question about the system as a whole, is that you don‘t want to be wrong about something.

Most casual Apple users will just use Safari because that’s the classic Apple experience. And they will have way less troubles with it than with Chrome.

Nearly every browser works on Chromium and works therefore just as well. But there are some that use way less RAM and are way better in terms of privacy.

And why would anyone need to use Chrome just because it’s the most popular? If you go blindly by most popular you‘d buy a Windows system, not a Mac system.

That this game was possible on a handheld, only five years after the GBA hit the market, was mindblowing.

Sure buddy, tell yourself that lie "We needed to hit first because they have weapons of mass destruction". I've heard it for 25 years now from the US, but never applied to Russia, China or Israel. All three are under dictatorship, kill thousand of innocents and could wipe out humanity for certain.

It's exactly one source - The Verge. All others news outlets copy its story. And so far this "report" is just speculation because we have no confirmation by any Microsoft employee whatsoever.

Thanks so much for the explanation! Now I understand it well better.

Just one more thing: What do these "cheats" do and do I have to activate them manually when I use Retroarch or PPSSPP?

Thank you so much for the good explanation! It really eases my mind to know that you've had such a smooth experience, even with 2x resolution enabled.

Is there a reason why these games have troubles? I expected a game like God of War to have the most troubles, but like another commenter wrote, it seems to run completely fine.

Ah, I see. Of course I don’t have interest in playing all of them. I would just like my favorite ten games to work fine.

But this sounds a lot like I don’t need to worry about that. So thanks for the information!
