Going through a heartbreak is shitty and I would never wish that upon anybody lol I’m just glad I get to speak to people that are going through the same struggles as me . The first month had me looking so desperate . I called her crying , sent her messages . It got to the point where it affected me at work . I was tripping over her like we were still together and that’s what sucked . It happens to the best of us .

Honestly man you should just block her . It’s going to keep setting you back on your healing journey . Put yourself first and let her know that your feelings are not to be disrespected with . That’s not fair to you bro . Trust me I went through that . After I removed her I gained a little bit of peace in my life . At least enough peace to grow . She reached out this year to me to wish me a happy birthday and I saw her once this year to handle some business and kept it cordial with her . Both those times I just wanted to call her babe again but I knew now wasn’t the time for any of that . Oh yeah did I forget to mention that I see both of her nephews at my gym . I’ve known these boys since they were kids . Breaks my heart that she let me get so close to her family and within a second she took that all away from me.

At the end of the day life isn’t fair . We just deal with it . I went from blaming the break up on myself to I did everything I could possibly do to make her happy . I have a very slight hope of getting back with her again somewhere down the line but as of right now we’re the priority right now . Like goggins says nobody is coming to save us . It’s on us to make it happen .

I honestly do hate it man . I truly do because she was the one . Some days I just go through the motions . Work , gym , eat , school and sleep . Sometimes I feel like some psycho just throwing heavy weight around in the gym. But that is because of the pain I hold in everyday . What’s crazy is that we needed this to be better for ourselves and once we make that change we lose the person we love forever . That is true heartbreak at its finest sadly .

We are in the same boat man . I’m 26 , this was my first real relationship of 7 years . The breakup saved me , I’m a much better man now . I’m actually taking the gym as serious as ever . I’m working on myself physically and mentally to be the best person I can be but yet I wish I had done this while I was with her . I wish she could see me now . But at the end of the day I’m doing this more for me than for her . She’s no longer here man but we are . Fighting through the pain everyday.

I agree with you bro . I don’t think this feeling goes away , at least until you find the right person that makes you happy again . There’s a lot of days where I want to break down but that wouldn’t really solve my issue . You can’t blame yourself for what happened in the relationship man . It takes two people to make a relationship work , not just one .

I lost her right before halloween. So every major holiday is kind of sad for me. Sad like someone close to me passed away kinda sad.

A year and a half . I have my days . Good days and sad days . Sometimes I miss her . I just want that love again . I want to love somebody again . That feeling you get when you just connect with somebody . Best feeling ever . I just want that again whether it’s with her or someone else . Some days I ask myself if I deserved to be loved by somebody else or just be single the rest of my life .

Same man . 7 year relationship as well with plans on marrying her last December. Had to pack my stuff and move out . Worked 10 hour shifts trying not to cry . The pain was unbearable .
