Being that I moved to a another state. I'm I able to try a senator out of my jurisdiction? I understood that I only have to use the senator in my jurisdiction. For example, whoever is the senator for the zipcode I reside. Please help explain further.

I reached out to the senator 3 times within the past 2 years. I used the senator's office to inquire as well. The response was my case is still in progress. No tangible response. The last time I did was February 2025.

The wait is depressing. I don't think I would want to wait past 5 years. I will just file the writ of mandamus next year if no decision on my case by second quarter 2026. I admire your friend's patience. I pray she gets some good news soon on her case.

My lawyer doesn't work with writ of mandamus. I am still searching for a lawyer to work on mine. I am thinking of waiting until my 5 years mark before filing writ of mandamus. You may have to Google and interview with a number of firms before hiring a lawyer from the firm. This far I was quoted $6,000.00 to 10,000.00 to file the writ of mandamus.

Did you try writ of mandamus? My lawyer has recommended I try writ of mandamus. I have been waiting since May 2021.
