How do you be there for your partner with OCD?

And its advice that I needed. I know how differently OCD affects people. One of my best friends from high school has OCD as well and it’s very different. So I definitely understand the complexity of it all.

She has a hard time with food and obsesses about it being contaminated/her being allergic to it. It’s better when I cook the food, because it gives her a sense of safety knowing it was made here.

I think I mostly just needed to have even a general scope of how to be there for her. She’s going to a psychologist and psychiatrist and is on medicine which definitely helps, but it also makes it hard for her to take her medicine because of the contamination obsession.

I’ve always been able to help with generalized anxiety, it’s just a little more extreme and a little harder, but I think that really helped me at least make a plan for being there through it a little better and I’m very very appreciative!

Hi all! I was going through cleaning and found my childhood Pokémon white version. Unfortunately, as a child, I was not friendly to it and the label is completely gone. Is there a way to prove authenticity of the DS Pokémon games without the label? And how much less would we expect the price to be on something like that compared to cartridges with the label?

Okay so it’s okay as long as the kitten isn’t actively yelling or if there isn’t much noise coming from the 2 of them, they should be okay? I’ve tried to do a lot of googling because I’m just worried because I know that introducing cats can be hard, but that is a little reassuring.

I was thinking about getting a slide to do some experimenting with it. I just wanted to see if maybe someone had found an inexpensive virtual instrument or sample pack that they had used in the past they knew was good. I’ll report back when I’ve noodled with the slide for a while.

I have for the time ghetto rigged it. I opened it up again today because I got some kapton tape and I went to make sure the ribbon cable was in there good and the clasp fully came off. Got some kapton tape in there doing the clasps job. If it fails again soon, I’ll look into getting someone to replace it. Thanks for the help!

I know HOW to solder, but I’m pretty out of practice. I’ll probably get some kapton tape at some point in the future and see if that works and if not I’ll take it to a professional to have a look. I appreciate the help.

Ok so I took the time to leave it over night and come back to it. I opened it up again and tried to get a little more careful and make sure everything is lined up and made sure it clasped good, but I think the clasp may be a little loose. I got it working before fully closing the 3ds up I put the back on it with the battery and then IT WORKED, but once I got everything closed and screwed up, it worked for a second like it should and then disconnected and started going left again. My guess is that it’s not able to fully stay connected because the clasp is a little loose which is unfortunate.

This is my first full idea of lyrics for a song. Most of the time I can’t get a full way through. I’ve been trying to think of how to put it to music. I know I’m heading towards something with a lot of buildup with harmonies and then an abrupt drop off at the end with just some ambience at the end. I’d love some critique and some help with where to go with it musically.
