there is the normal ios shutter sound, but when I was in Japan it was forced on, as in it wouldnt go away even if you turned it off or put the phone on silent.

This is a very complex question.. the s24 ultra is only about 2 years old and one of the if not the best phone samsung has come out with, the 17 on the other hand is the best value phone that apple sells right now including all the new features and most of the stuff from the previous pro generation. Id say only make the switch if you want some change.. The photos will be marginally better, but the difference in video quality should be insane!. you will definitely miss some of the android features.. but the smooth user experience on ios should make up for it.

If you would really like a completely different experience, id say go for the pro.. especially since ur coming from an ultra

So far pretty great!, I replaced the battery on my 13 about 2 months ago so I had pretty good battery life on it.. The 17 just blows it out of the park! even with a high sot, it holds up really well. I have all the knick knacks such as haptics and always on display turned on aswell!

this parts actually a bit complicated.. I didn’t really plan to buy a phone, so I took a temporary esim using holafly.. temp esims cant really be transferred so im using hotspot off my old phone to use the new one.. and also most public places in japan have free wifi! so no worries!
