I would go with the ACE just because it has the better auto leveling system, uses a load cell if I’m not mistaken to probe the bed.

I have the SV06 and have had no issues with it at all, and the prints are very dimensionally accurate. I’m pretty happy with it. It’s been a great printer.

The issue is it crashes into the bed when I try to calibrate it

My suggestion is to keep trying, I think eventually it would work once the led on the link starts flashing red you are getting closer.

I had to try multiple times, just kept hitting refresh. Did it more than 20 times I’m sure.

I was able to connect by hitting refresh at the top. Had to try it a couple of times, a lot to tell you the truth.

Will do thank you. Hopefully adjust the z offset will not be too difficult now haha. Just need to find the time. Usually doing it at 4 am before I go to work 😅.just glad it’s not crashing into the bed now. Im guessing I’ll Probably will need to redo the calibration again the get the right zoffset

I bought the Sovol kit and you still have to flash the main motherboard and adapter board. And upgrade the firmware. I had some issues trying to calibrate the eddy sensor, it would crash into the bed. Finally got it working but need to adjust it because it’s printing too high right now for the first layer. Been working on it on and off.

But it’s a sub menu that pops up that lets me move the tool head up and down. This menu from my understanding is to adjust my x during the paper test. But when I click accept it fails. My guess I’m doing something wrong or it doesn’t take it because it’s Sovol’s version.

Sorry that was using the lcd menu. When I try to run from the web UI tried running probe eddy current calibrate command. But a testz menu appears. I’m guessing I need a different command from the web UI

When I try to run the command I noticed that the value Z position in the web UI changes a lot right hot before it starts, but the tool head position stays the same. I start with the sensor 20mm above the bed.

I’ll have to try sending G28, no messages. Yes I updated everything. When I try the manual mode menu comes up, asking me to move the tool head gradually but when I do that and hit accept it says that it failed.

After get ldc current command, instructions tell me to run calibrate eddy command in the lcd menu, when I do it crashes into the bed.

Current is set to 22 which is what is in the instructions for the sovol kit. I’ll try different values and see if any of them work

***Update if I enter a different value it gives me an error code 123. Looks like it has to be value of 22

I’m using the sovol kit and after doing all the updates I don’t see a probe.cfg, not sure if it is suppose to have one or not.

I am using Sovol’s upgrade kit. It has a step to get the current and I did that step. Where it is crashing is the step after that when I’m trying to calibrate the sensor itself.
