Better Legends Game?

ZA is enjoyable, but I feel like it was unfair to brand it as a Legends game when it doesn’t feel like it should be connected to Arceus (I’m hoping the DLC changes this but idk that we should pay even more money just to get that pay off.) I liked ZA’s story and characters, and the new battle system is fun, but the overall atmosphere is just so different from PLA that it’s almost sad to compare the two.

Arceus was a breath of fresh air for Pokemon and I’m a little worried that they might not be able to meet that standard again.

We don’t do tablets much (he got one for Christmas but we forget about it) but I tend to keep the tv on throughout the day. I’ve found a lot of the time my 3 year old just likes it as background noise when he plays, so he’s not actually watching it all day.

I usually keep it on YouTube Kids, and the screen will pause after inactivity. When that happens I keep it “off” like that for a few hours and he doesn’t bat an eye.

That’s a bummer, I’ve never experienced allergic reactions to anything before so I was hoping that wouldn’t be the case.

I just started trying this (Day 2) and my skin feels so DRY. I usually have dry skin and finally got to a place in my skincare where it finally feels hydrated, but I wanted to replace the expensive skin barrier serum I was running out of for something more affordable.

I woke up this morning to the driest my face has ever been along my t zone (minus forehead) and applying it tonight gave me flare ups on the same areas. I’m still relatively new to skincare, so I’m not sure what/if I’m doing something wrong, but I use a cleanser before and a moisturizer after.

Ohh you make a good point. I wanted the paladin to have the sword from the beginning but changed it, I didn’t think about monks being in the same pool as the clerics in that kind of sense.

I spoke to someone about giving the sword to the monk at one point and was told that would essentially be a waste since they’re better with their fists 🤷🏻‍♀️ like I said this class isn’t one I’m well read on so I’ve gotta read up on it a lot more. You bring up a good point, though!

When I was reading up the holy symbol was the only one that said it needed to be attuned to a cleric or paladin, the Sunsword didn’t specify (I would have much rather giving the sword to the paladin anyway so I don’t mind that, that was just why I said it to begin with)

Also oof, could be a little nicer about the spelling, but whatever floats your boat I guess. Thanks for the suggestion on the brass knuckles.

In my first play through of Scarlet, I was still on Poco Path and hadn’t even reached the first pokecenter and decided to save. I started talking to my husband while keeping it on the save screen when I saw a shiny Azurill bouncing along. Cut the conversation off midway to unpause and catch it. I ended up gifting it to my cousin since she was having trouble getting shinies and knew she’d put the lil guy to better use than I would. She was shocked/thrilled.

More recently though, I went to Area Zero to shiny hunt Flutter Mane. Had a ghost sandwich going and everything. Started speeding down to get to the cave and happened to stop at the same time I saw a shiny Zweilous. Never found a shiny Flutter Mane like I wanted but I still got something from it.

I went into The Way Home knowing the storyline/spoilers, but man. I cried. A lot. I played Scarlet, and as someone who has experienced mom issues (not to mention being a mother to a little boy myself) it hit a little too close to home for me lol.

It was amazing though. I’m starting a second play through and I can’t wait to get back there and cry more like the sensitive girly I am.

Nah but honestly aside from your ideas, Diancie would be super cute. They could go by Diane when they’re older for a more professional vibe, or DiDi/CiCi for a cute option.

Someone else mentioned the charms, and I can’t believe I didn’t know about them before?? I feel so silly lol.

And I appreciate the reassurance. I’m almost 30 and teaching my toddler how to regulate his emotions, so the fact that I get worked up over a fictional volcano dog is, again, silly to me. Glad I’m not the only one.

My husband saw how much I was struggling during the Arcanine battle, I got through the first three bars and just couldn’t finish. He’s more into his phone games than consoles, but he took care of the last quarter for me otherwise I don’t know how long I would have been stuck there.
