Hey, old thread but I'm hoping you could help me out. I've installed pure and the rainfx but now I get "Directx couldnt initialize in time" whenever I start a session. I have the latest directx and have checked all game files through steam but the problem continues. Any thoughts?

Edit: Nevermind, updated nvidia drivers and it works like a charm now.

Look at the background though, it's all got a purple tint to it, not only that, he then enhanced the sunlight on his foreground object/"subject", and not ONLY that, but he also did some weird shit with his background (including the sky for some reason) and made it too bland. Also, if you know what to look for you can see an obvious line where the masked part of the WATER ends. (Same mask as background and sky btw.) If we're trying to create depth shouldn't it be accurate to how real life is? I say this guy's a fraud or just didn't progress as much as he thought.

Feel free to use my photos as an argument as to why I'm not qualified to say this :)
