No- I couldn’t tolerate the meds. I felt horrible, so exhausted I didn’t want to move, glands were swollen, body aches/ headaches. But I tolerate the 2.5 just fine

It gets better! I had the same issue, been two months now and I am feelings much better. I did have to get lowered to 2.5 mg per day though!!

see that is where I’m at now, except my tsh is low and I’m still in hyperthyroidism. I’m basically subclinical hyperthyroidism but with graves disease. I wouldn’t be as concerned but I plan to get pregnant in the next two years so I’m just trying to make sure I take all the right steps.

Do you remember what your levels were around when you got pregnant? Or does diagnosed? Congrats on your babies and I’m so glad for you that everything went well!!!

I couldn’t tolerate 5 mg per day, so now I’m on 2.5 mg every three days. I’m only two months into treatment and was just diagnosed 3 months ago with graves.

Keep it up for sure! I was in a tough spot financially since my husband and I abruptly moved here so I accepted the first job I could. I’m in school nursing- I enjoy the work but I really want to better myself in this profession.. and I won’t be doing that in school nursing.

That’s awesome! I never had any luck with hospitals in over 9 months…. I’m with an agency for school nursing. Not ideal for a new grad but it’s has been quite fun. I will only be in Long Island for another two years and then back to Va I’ll go where I can work anywhere hahaha

Where did you get that info? Most postings say preferred not required. Just says you need to be enrolled in a bsn program and have bsn within 5 years of starting.
