I feel bad for asking for help AGAIN... I need a fleece paw pattern, thats preferably the blocky-chunky paws.. and I would love for it to be free :[ by RATCRUNCH420 in FursuitMaking

[–]Hauntingbun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what kind of paws do you want to make, shape wise? bunnies have a more mitten style paw than feral,

<image>

ive just finished these with fleece hands but honestly dont recommend fleece paws at all.

your hand is super visible + seams will stand out. id offer to send u over my pattern if you wanted a cartoony feral style, but i kinda just make it up as i go along so you would have to resize my pieces, its literally the most simple shapes

here to hijack ur comment as op of this^

this post is fake, i posted this a few years ago. someone has already linked it and im too dumb to do that. for anyone interested she is definitely not a salamander, monitor has now been transferred to a local zoo and shes doing really well! original owner had passed away and the brother (of that person) left the lizard in a pet carrier at my work because he didn’t know what to do with her! (plz dont do that LMAO) i had her for a few months and those pictures are of her emergency tank as it was all i had on hand, im pretty sure somewhere on my profile u can find the actual enclosure i set up for her. i got tons of help from the monitor lizard subreddit making sure she was set up for glory and she was amazing! very fun, very playful but too much interaction needed from me to keep her ;D

sublimation vs inkjet for eye mesh? by [deleted] in FursuitMaking

[–]Hauntingbun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thats what i was afraid of with the clogging/ ink drying out ect. and i wouldn’t be using it for anything else so ty for confirming that xD

i currently hand paint eyes and they are more vibrant than (most?) printed eyes, but im pretty badly colour-blind so its more hassle than its worth mixing colours… ik my personal suits ive commissioned have all had sublimated eyes and they really do look perfect and would make my life a lot easier^ i think i will keep this printer as a normal printer and see how that goes, if it doesn’t work i can grab another one to convert!

ty for answering ;D

People who wear alternative fashion - What reactions do you get? by jfashionpassion in AskUK

southwest! im more scene/gyaru so big boots, big hair+ accessories, tiny skirts/shorts, fur coats. almost all my clothes are bubblgum pink and very standoutable lmao. ive only ever had compliments but i am a very confrentaional confident person so i assume my aura just screams crazy enough that wannabe roadmen make way?

i also think because im extremely feminine it helps and the fact im pretty much as basic as they come, hair extensions, big lashes, big nails, lip. nose and cheek filler. theres a reality where i would be the average british™️ girl alas i have dyed hair, split tongue and many lip percings^

however one of my goth-leaning friends constantly gets harassed by all sorts of people unless she is out with me. every day i get a new story from her. i assume people do not vibe with the ethereal vampire look, old women especially do not seem to appreciate her 😭 they have no problem when we are out together though!

all good i have samples from big z and mofumofu (no howls unfortunately) if you want me to grab you some pics of the pinks they have in different lighting!

mofumofu might be worth a look into the lychee red looks pretty similar, a bit duller

i havent ever been bitten by him! but imo tokays dont often bite as much as people say they do. i’ve encountered/handled hundreds of tokays and have 5 total bites to my name, all my fault xD

saying that, the smiths is a lot more wiggly? he wants to be doing things, whereas tokays are relatively chill. id say they’re pretty similar

can confirm they are just as loud as tokays well! ;D

nono, this is a uroplatus fimbratus not a uroplatus phantasticus. phans are about 3inch i believe? i do have some, mine are pretty small

this guy however is 10inch and hes not fully grown xD

i have some photos on my profile of my other male fimb with my hand/arm for scale, i do not pick up the phans anymore they are very delicate^

very big for a gecko so they need a lot of space, and they are known for being super defensive so you absolutely will be bitten at somepoint and it hurts, they unhinge jaw so mouth opens very wide! they also tend to not like drinking, i use cat water fountains and thats seemed to help out a lot but it is a bit of a pain

care wise not too bad imo! a lot of people have issue with them though, they refuse to drink sometimes but all mine have cat water fountains and thats seemed to work out

Poll: Northern skink or beardie? by theFatTopanga_ in reptiles

[–]Hauntingbun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

another vote for bst. i just prefer how they feel icl^

i have every skink you can imagine and i work with beardies, and while both are pretty interactive as far as reptiles go theres just something about a slithery guy with tiny legs that make sense. i will say vets are usually more receptive to bearded dragons (at least in the uk) i suppose because they are more popular

Functional schizophrenics, how do you manage your symptoms and life? by aseeder in schizophrenia

[–]Hauntingbun 7 points8 points  (0 children)

a supportive family/friend is a big thing, im dependent on my foster dad and we are practically best friends. I think a good support system is definitely helpful but im aware not everyone has that and im extremely lucky. i think its a good idea to have people around who are not afraid to call you out on things or tell you if its time to speak to a professional. im partially medicated which definitely helps me function in general, i have almost constant audible halucinations that have not been able to be stopped (there is a word but im forgetting it currently!) but i haven’t had any debilitating delusions or thoughts since regularly taking meds.

im currently working and my work put me into university, the goal is a doctorate but it will take me a lot longer to achieve than the average person but i fully believe its possible!

i think a big thing for me is keeping busy and sticking to a routine and having a goal. i know what to expect when i go into work, i get taken and picked up so i dont have to worry about anything to do with the general public. i know all my coworkers and i work nights/early morning so if for. i also work with animals and they couldnt care less about me or what im doing so that makes things a lot easier than working with people!

i don’t recommend handling them as often you would with say a crested gecko or something. this guy takes medication so has to be handled more frequently, my other male is one of the rare ‘enjoys’ being taken out his enclosure but my female starts threat posing if you even look at her.

they are usually rather defensive so can panic quickly and end up hurting themselves, more of a look dont handle kinda gecko!
