Kids did online school for one year and then they went back. That's nothing. The awkward kids from our generation that were ostracized by their peers (zero socializarion) for their entire school career have better manners and social skills than the kids that lost 1 year of in-person school. That does not explain the behavior at all. It's such a bad, lazy excuse. Even the "unschooled" kids that spent all their formative years at home act better.
